About the Author
Geneva Ford was born and raised in a quiet corner of British Columbia, where mountains, forests, and endless hours of riding horses shaped her earliest memories. From a young age, she lived with an awareness most people don’t talk about openly: vivid premonitions, spirit encounters, and moments of knowing that couldn’t be explained. Her grandmother shared the same gift. With encouragement from her family, she navigated the thin spaces between the seen and unseen worlds.
Though she spent much of her early life avoiding books, everything changed in 2009 when a single novel awakened a hunger she didn’t know she possessed. Within a year, reading became her nightly ritual, a place where fantasy and reality blended. By 2013, the stories inside her demanded to be written.
Geneva’s fiction is rooted in the mystical — shaped by real spiritual encounters, intuitive experiences, and the quiet understanding that our world is layered with more than we can touch. Her goal is simple: to make the paranormal less frightening, to offer hope to readers who have felt alone in their own experiences, and to remind us that we are spirits having a human lifetime.
Now living on Vancouver Island, Geneva tends extensive herbal gardens, forages in the old forests, and crafts her own tinctures and remedies as a Practical Herbalist. She is also a certified psychic medium, weaving her intuitive gifts into her storytelling.
She shares her life with her husband, three children, three dogs, and a cat who watches everything like she knows more than she lets on. Her favorite days are spent wandering the places where saltwater air meets towering cedars, firs, and hemlocks, collecting herbs, and gathering messages and inspiration from the wild.
Her stories are fantasy, yes…
But the truth beneath them is very, very real.
